On Thursday, 28 May from 6pm we are cracking open a keg of our ‘Japanese Black Lager' and pouring free pints until we run out.

Meet our ‘Japanese Black Lager’ a 4.6% dark beer that retains the hallmark drinkability, balance, and precision of Japanese brewing

We’ve used rice syrup to keep the body light and "snappy," and the dark malts are there for flavour, not for heavy body. It’s all about harmony and restraint. A smooth, highly drinkable dark lager with gentle roasted malt notes, a light, dry body from rice, and a clean, crisp finish balanced by subtle bitterness.

Our brewers describe it as a 'stealth beer', it looks like a stout, drinks like a crisp lager, and finishes with a really elegant hint of cocoa.
